Minimony/Microwedding packages are ideal for couples who want to proceed with a wedding ceremony now with just a handful of guests in attendance. Packages include a garden setting on the lawn with the historically significant James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home serving as a backdrop for your picturesque wedding or event.

Indoor space available for small meetings and includes multi-media screen for presentations and virtual attendees.

Option A: Small Meeting, U-Shape Conference, 10 Guest Max
Option B: Small Meeting, Separate Banquet Tables, 16 Guest Max
Option C: Small Meeting, Lecture Seating, 16-20 Guest Max

Outdoor Space Options
Option A: Small Outdoor Meeting or Open House Up to 50 Guests, no more than 25-30 at one time
Option B: Minimony/Microwedding Up to 50 Guests

Billie Lou Wood Visitor Center was designed to mirror the original carriage house that once stood behind the James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home, is nestled in the heart of the historic Lockerbie neighborhood and just minutes from the Mass Ave Cultural District.

The James Whitcomb Riley Museum Home is a National Historic Landmark. While photography is allowed both inside the museum home and on museum grounds, it is imperative that all who participate abide by guidelines established to protect the historical significance of the property.

Museum Grounds only:
$175 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday
$225 8:00am-4:00pm Friday-Saturday
Photo shoots are by appointment only
Up to 20 people
Duration: One Hour

Inside Museum Home – Wedding Photography:
$350 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Saturday
Only bride, groom and one photographer allowed inside
Photos taken at three pre-determined locations
All arrangements must be made in advance with the Museum Director and done under staff supervision
Wedding Party outside, up to 20 people
Duration: Two Hours
